Remuneration data reporting

Firms must submit information to us annually about high earners and remuneration benchmarking.

These rules are set out in the Supervision Manual (SUP 16.17) of the Handbook.

In 2014, the European Banking Authority (EBA) published revised guidelines on the:

  • data collection exercise regarding high earners
  • remuneration benchmarking exercise

In Brexit: our approach to EU non-legislative materials, we explain how we expect firms to continue to apply guidelines to the extent that they remain relevant.
