Jeannette Lichner

Jeannette joined the FCA Board in April 2020.

Jeannette has over 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry in a variety of roles. Her first 20 years were in wholesale banking where she held senior roles in numerous functions including Operations, Finance, Corporate Finance and Regulatory Compliance at firms including Morgan Stanley and Bank of America. 

In 2009 she moved into consulting, advising firms across industry sectors including wholesale and retail banking, insurance, and wealth and investment management on governance, risk and regulatory matters. In Jeannette’s final four years in the corporate sector she was head of the Governance, Risk and Regulatory practice at FTI Consulting and led the cross platform Financial Services group.

Since 2017 Jeannette has been working with clients as a senior advisor, governance expert and executive coach as well as working closely with several start-up companies.

She is currently Chair of Elucidate GmBh, a data-driven financial crime ratings company, and a trustee of Local Trust, a community empowering charity funded by the UK Community fund, where she chairs the Audit and Risk Committee. She is also a member of the Global Advisory Board of the McIntire School of Commerce of the University of Virginia, of which she is an alumnus.
