We regularly organise events to raise awareness of the services available, provide support to innovators and discuss emerging trends in the sector.
Innovation Hub events include:
- roundtables that focus on the Innovation Hub and the FCA and ask for feedback on how we can improve our operations
- surgeries that provide support to businesses experiencing specific and common issues working with the regulatory framework, including Q&A sessions to explore problems and coaching sessions to educate attendees
- thematic workshops that draw on industry expertise to discuss emerging trends in the sector and consider potential impact from a regulatory perspective.
We are also often invited to events – such as workshops, roadshows, roundtables, conferences and panel sessions – hosted by other organisations that support innovation in financial services. If you would like to invite us to attend your event, please contact [email protected].
If you would like to invite us to speak at your event, please fill in our speaker request form. Ensure you mention the innovate team on the form.
Themed weeks series
As part of our themed weeks series we will be holding an Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning event on 12 April 2018. Our themed events are designed to promote engagement between the FCA and interested stakeholders, as well as help inform our thinking on trends around innovation. The event will be held at PwC's offices in 1 Embankment Place, London, WC2N 6RH.
Regional regulatory surgeries
The 15 minute regulatory surgery sessions are aimed at innovative firms who want to speak to us about specific regulatory issues or questions they face, which could act as a precursor to applications for formal support via the our Innovate Direct Support or Sandbox team.
International Innovate Seminar
Alongside Innovate Finance’s Global Summit on 10-11 April 2017 and HM Treasury’s International FinTech Conference for investors on 12 April 2017, we hosted an International Innovate Seminar for regulators on 12 April 2017 in London. Our event brought together regulators from around the world to share their experiences and perspectives of fostering innovation in financial services.
