Annual Report

We outline the work we have undertaken in response to the pandemic, our key priorities, our cross-cutting priorities and our priorities within specific sectors. This covers a wide range of activities including:

  • Our response to coronavirus – we brought in payment deferrals, restricted repossessions of homes, goods and vehicles and ensured essential consumer services remained available.
  • International and EU withdrawal – we worked with the Government to ensure continuity for consumers and firms, and to protect UK markets.
  • Transforming the way we carry out our role as a regulator – we have developed the shape and scope of our plans to become a more efficient and effective regulator.
  • How we’re implementing the independent reviews – we have established a programme of work that brings together all of the actions we are taking to implement the recommendations from the independent reviews.
