Other payment services not including AIS or PIS

Answer the following question to understand more about what you need to do to meet new PSD2 requirements:

Do you know what payment services you will be providing and whether you need to be authorised or registered?
Please select:

1. You can apply through our Authorisation pages as either an authorised payment institution (authorised PI) or an authorised electronic money institution (authorised EMI). You can find further information on our Authorisation pages.

2. Once you are authorised or registered you will need to comply with a number of requirements set out in the PSRs 2017. You can find guidance in our Approach Document.

3. If you intend to passport, the PSD2 passporting gateway will open on 13 December 2017. Notifications can be made via Connect from 2 January 2018.

If you are unsure you can find guidance on whether you may be carrying out AIS or PIS in PERG*. PERG 3 and PERG 15 are amended by the Payment Services Instrument 2017 and you can see the revised PERG on our Handbook website by setting the date to 13 January 2018.
