This is what we call a 'clone firm'; and fraudsters usually use this tactic when contacting people out of the blue, so you should be especially wary if you have been cold called. They may use the name of the genuine firm, the 'firm reference number' (FRN) we have given the authorised firm or other details.

We are aware that some investors may have been approached by Fidelity Capital Ltd/Fidelity Capital UK / Fidelity Acquisitions (clone) with false claims to be working with/alongside the Financial Conduct Authority, offering to assist them in disposing of their investments with African Land or Capital Carbon Credits purchased through Capital Alternatives. You should be extremely cautious if you are approached, particularly if you are asked to make a payment in advance.
