FCA opens applications for 3 key statutory panels

We're welcoming applications for positions on 3 of our statutory panels.

The FCA has 6 panels which play a vital role in our decision-making process. They provide us with independent advice and challenge, bringing a depth of experience and expertise to our work and identifying costs, benefits, and risks to markets, firms and consumers.

We’re looking for experienced professionals who can help shape our work and bring valuable insight from across the financial services sector.

Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) Panel

The FCA Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) Panel’s role is to bring constructive challenge and advice to how the FCA and Payment Systems Regulator (PSR) produce CBAs for regulatory interventions.

We’re looking for individuals with expertise in CBAs, including those who may be working at authorised firms.

Smaller Business Practitioner Panel

The FCA Smaller Business Practitioner Panel provides advice and early input on our work and brings to our attention issues which smaller business practitioners feel are likely to be of major significance or controversy.

We’re looking for senior professionals from small or medium-sized firms in the financial advice sector.

Markets Practitioner Panel

The FCA Markets Practitioner Panel provides advice and early input on our work from the perspective of financial market participants.

We’re looking for senior professionals from small firms participating in financial markets.

Membership of the panels is made by individual appointment and is not as a direct representative of a firm or organisation. We are seeking senior professionals from smaller businesses active in these markets.
