I refer you to your latest disclosure of information specific to the number of whistleblowing reports received by the FCA.
Please provide the following information:
The FCA states that in the first quarter of 2023 that it received 280 new whistleblowing reports.
Please provide information clarifying how many of the persons making these 280 reports, classified by The FCA as 'whistleblowing reports', have been classified by the FCA, or are being treated by the FCA, as 'whistle-blowers'?
FCA response:
The figure we provide in our quarterly whistleblowing reports on the FCA website relates to reports we have received from whistle-blowers and which we are treating as such. For this reason, of the 280 persons making whistle-blowers reports, 280 were classified by the FCA as whistle-blowers.
