The category (e.g, fraud, discrimination, health and safety) of the whistleblowing disclosures raised to the FCA, for every calendar year from 2012 to 2024.

We have previously disclosed the information for 2014 to 2018 in a previous FOIA response FOI6156. You can see the response here on our disclosure log. For the period 2019 up to 2024 please see Annex A attached. Please note we do not hold information for 2012 and 2013.
Please be aware that in 2017 we introduced a new case management system that allowed us to record multiple allegations for each individual case. This means the total number of allegations will be larger than the number of cases for the period 2017 to 2024. Prior to this, we only recorded one allegation per case, so the total number of allegations and total number of cases will be the same for the period 2012 to 2016.
Additionally, we would like to explain that the allegation categories change over time. This is why the allegations included in our earlier response differ to those in Annex A.
