Information on UK consolidated tapes for bonds and equities - January 2026

As at the end of December 2025, the FCA has spent £2m on this work.

*  This figure for staffing costs covers the costs of staff in functions with fixed and dedicated resources to this policy initiative over its life cycle. It does not include other functions that have contributed at various times, as specialist advisors from particular areas, such as Legal, Procurement, Competition, Economics, Authorisations and DTI.  It also does not include very senior management time or the time of evaluators in the procurement exercise, engaged to evaluating procurement bids because of their skills and experience.  This is because the time spent on these activities would not have been recorded by these colleagues under a dedicated project code but rather as part of their day-to-day activities.
