Please provide statistics on the distribution of current interest rates for the stock of all repayment mortgages over time. They see the request fully replicated in Annex B.

We can confirm that we hold the requested information, which is set out in Annex A. This is set out in four different annexes due to the size of the file.
For context, the data was extracted from Product Sales Data - Mortgage Performance (PSD007). PSD007 covers all regulated mortgage contracts in the UK. It provides a snapshot of mortgages at six-monthly intervals; therefore, we are unable to provide a monthly breakdown as requested.
PSD007 has been collected from 2015 and therefore the data provided covers first half of the 2015 (January to June) to second half of the 2023 (July to December). We have not yet received the data from 2024. The data provided covers all mortgages capital repayment mortgages (and excludes interest only and part capital repayment mortgages). The data also excludes second charge mortgages. Finally, all mortgages are grouped by these categories and averages are calculated.
