1. Please can you provide the total number of open enforcement operations and open enforcement investigations as at the date of your response to this FOIA request (or as close a date as is possible)?
2. Please can you confirm how many of the open enforcement operations and open enforcement investigations referred to in 1. are into firms and how many are into individuals?
3. Please provide a breakdown of the open enforcement cases referred to in 1. above in the same format as the FCA typically provides in its Annual Report and Accounts (e.g. Table 2 under Section 6.2 of this Appendix in the 2022/23 Annual Report, or its equivalent in the 2023/24 Annual Report when published - https://www.fca.org.uk/data/fca-operating-service-metrics-2022-23showing the general topics covered by these open enforcement cases.
4. Please can you confirm how many new enforcement cases and new enforcement investigations the FCA has opened since the end of its 2024/25 financial year (i.e. since 1 April 2025)?
5. Please can you provide the same breakdown as requested in 3. above, but only for the new enforcement cases referred to in 4. above (i.e. showing the general subject matter of the topics covered by these enforcement investigations?
6. Please can you confirm how many of the investigations referred to in 4. above are into firms and how many are into individuals?
