We hold the information you have asked for, but we are prohibited from disclosing the minutes of each meeting of the FCA's Sustainable Finance Advisory Committee (formerly the ESG Advisory Committee) as this constitutes ‘confidential information’ for the purposes of section 348 of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (FSMA), and which the FCA has received in the discharge of its public functions. We are therefore prohibited from disclosing this information under section 44 of FOIA.

In response to parts 1 and 2 of your request, all meetings of the Sustainable Finance Advisory Committee are held both online and in person. We welcome committee members who wish to attend in person, but they are equally welcome to join online.
The dates of all meetings in the specific period and the names of attendees are provided below in Annex A. Please note that we are unable to disclose all of this information to you under section 40 (personal data) of FOIA. Names of staff below Head of Department level have been withheld because disclosing this information would reveal personal information about the individuals concerned.
