Freedom of Information: Right to know request:
My query relates to the value of crypto holdings section (approximately chart 9) of your Crypto Asset Research document.
1. Your report says that of those who chose to declare their crypto holdings, the highest reported value was £7million. Can I ask what percentage AND how many "cryptocurrency owners" declared crypto holdings of £1million and above?
2. Can I ask what percentage AND how many declared crypto holdings of £1million and above the previous year?
3. Your report says you estimate there are 2.3m holders of crypto assets nationally. Based on the percentage value answer to question 1 above, is there an estimate of crypto millionaire numbers nationally that one could extrapolate? By way of example, if the answer to question 1 above was 1%, then using the FCA or YouGov's methodology, does it follow that the estimated number of crypto millionaires is 23,000?
In closing, I am making the observation that the most recent report is now 12 months old. If another report is imminent then could you please use the most recent datasets available to answer my enquiry.
