Information on authorisation of open banking third-party providers - May 2025

Under the Freedom of Information Act, I would like to request access to the following information regarding TPPs authorization, specifically those acting as Account Information Service Providers (AISPs), Payment Initiation Service Providers (PISPs), or both:

1. A historical list of UK-authorized TPPs that passported their services into EEA countries prior to Brexit. For each TPP, please include:
(1) The name of the TPP;
(2) The type(s) of authorization granted (AISP, PISP, or both);
(3) The EEA countries into which they passported;
(4) The date(s) when passporting was granted in each country.

2. A historical list of EEA-authorized TPPs that passported their services into the UK prior to Brexit. For each TPP, please include:
(1) The name of the TPP;
(2) The type(s) of authorization granted (AISP, PISP, or both);
(3) The date when passporting into the UK was granted.

3. A complete list of all TPPs that have ever been authorized in the UK, including those whose authorizations have since been withdrawn or revoked. For each TPP, please include:
(1) The name of the TPP;
(2) The type(s) of authorization granted (AISP, PISP, or both);
(3) The date when authorization was granted;
(4) The date when authorization was revoked or withdrawn (if applicable).
