  1. How much was spent each year by the Financial Conduct Authority tackling online fraud for each of the last five years? Please provide the amount spent by each month if possible. 

    If you cannot provide the amount for the last five years within the time allowed under the Freedom of Information Act, please provide the last three years of data. If you cannot provide the amount for the last three years within the time allowed under the Freedom of Information Act, please provide the last 12 months of data

     

  2. How much was spent each year by the Financial Conduct Authority on ScamSmart campaigns for each of the last five years? Please provide the amount spent by each month if possible. If you cannot provide the amount for the last five years within the time allowed under the Freedom of Information Act, please provide the last three years of data. If you cannot provide the amount for the last three years within the time allowed under the Freedom of Information Act, please provide the last 12 months of data.

     

  3. How much was spent each year by the Financial Conduct Authority reimbursing victims of Authorised Push Payment fraud for each of the last five years? Please provide the amount spent by each month if possible. If you cannot provide the amount for the last five years within the time allowed under the Freedom of Information Act, please provide the last three years of data. If you cannot provide the amount for the last three years within the time allowed under the Freedom of Information Act, please provide the last 12 months of data.

     

  4. As a monetary value, how much was reported each year to the Financial Conduct Authority in Authorised Push Payment fraud for each of the last five years? Please provide the amount spent by each month if possible. If you cannot provide the amount for the last five years within the time allowed under the Freedom of Information Act, please provide the last three years of data. If you cannot provide the amount for the last three years within the time allowed under the Freedom of Information Act, please provide the last 12 months of data.Request clarification received 12 August 2025: 

    Please can you provide the reports of Authorised Push Payment fraud by month for each of the last five years? And if possible, are you able to provide the value of the these Authorised Push Payment fraud by month. For example, in one month, if you received one report of Authorised Push Payment fraud where £5,000 was lost and another where £2,000 was lost, that would be 2 reports of Authorised Push Payment fraud with a total value of £7,000 for that month.

     

  5. Please provide the number of companies that investigations were opened as a firm's fraud response plan was suspected of being insufficient ([1]FCG 4.2) by month for each of the past years. If you cannot provide the amount for the last five years within the time allowed under the Freedom of Information Act, please provide the last three years of data. If you cannot provide the amount for the last three years within the time allowed under the Freedom of Information Act, please provide the last 12 months of data.

    Request clarified 12 August 2025: Please provide the number of companies that investigations were opened as a firm's fraud response plan was suspected of being insufficient ([1]FCG 4.2) by month for each of the past years.
