On 20 November 2025, the Government published a draft Statutory Instrument and related policy note, to make T+1 the standard settlement cycle in the UK from 11 October 2027.
We encourage market participants to review the draft SI and policy note to prepare for T+1.
The Government welcomes any technical comments on the draft SI by 27 February 2026.
