Digital Protect: unauthorised firm offering insurance

We have found that Digital Protect Ltd – which is also known as Sampora and Domestic Protect – has been offering insurance for home entertainment and digital equipment without our authorisation. Find out what this means for their customers and why to avoid dealing with an unauthorised firm.

Digital Protect claim that they specialise in arranging insurance for television, home entertainment systems and satellite equipment. However, we have found that the firms were doing this without our authorisation.

Arranging or providing insurance is a regulated activity, so a firm has to be authorised by us to do so.

Digital Protect will not be able to arrange new policies or renew existing policies of insurance while they are unauthorised.
