CBL Insurance Europe dac (CBLIE) is an insurance firm authorised and regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland. It operates in the UK on a freedom of services basis. The firm ceased writing business on 19 February 2018 and Kieran Wallace of KPMG appointed as Administrator on 12 March 2018.
On 19 February 2019 the CBI withdrew CBLIE’s authorisation as granted under the European Union (Insurance and Reinsurance) regulations 2015.
This action will not impact the Administrator’s ability to pursue the activities of and objectives of the administration which includes the continued payment of all valid claims.
