Blankstone Sington Limited (BSL) enters special administration

On 13/10/23, Blankstone Sington Limited entered special administration following a Court Order under the Investment Bank Special Administration Regulations 2011. Andrew Poxon, Alex Cadwallader and Hilary Pascoe of Leonard Curtis were appointed joint special administrators.

BSL is an FCA authorised wealth management firm and a member of the London Stock Exchange. The firm’s directors resolved to place the company into special administration and applied to Court for an order to that effect.

On 16 November 2021, we took temporary action to prevent BSL from disposing or diminishing the value of its own assets, accepting new client money or new custody assets from existing clients and from opening new client accounts, without our written consent. Information regarding these restrictions can be found on our Register.

BSL was also required to place a notice on its website informing clients about the restrictions.

We recognise this may be a worrying and uncertain time for customers. If you have any questions about the process and what happens next, you can contact the joint special administrators at Leonard Curtis with any concerns. Their website contains frequently asked questions (FAQs) and you can contact them directly by email or by telephone:
