Freedom of Information: Right to know request:

For each month from January 2019 to the most recent available month, please provide the number of newly originated first-charge residential mortgages broken down by:

a) Tracker rate mortgages, by incentivised rate period length: 2-year, 3-year, 5-year, 10-year, and any longer incentivised tracker periods if available.

b) Fixed-rate mortgages, by incentivised rate period length: 2-year, 3-year, 5-year, 10-year, and any longer fixed periods if available.

c) Discount variable-rate mortgages (linked to lender’s SVR).

d) Standard Variable Rate (SVR) mortgages.

e) Other variable-rate or flexible products, such as capped, collared, offset or current-account mortgages, if available.

Included for each category:
• The number of completions in that month.
• The share (%) of total new lending represented by that category.

Broken-down for each product type and incentivised-period category by: 
• Borrower type: first-time buyer, home mover, or remortgage.
• LTV band: ≤ 75%, 76–85%, 86–90%, 91–95%, > 95%.
