A statistical breakdown of all MDP rejection codes for MIFID RTS22 Transaction Report rejections for 2024.

The requested information is set out below. Please note:

  • In September 2023, we disabled the transaction reporting validation rules CON-610 and CON-640, as per our supervisory statement, which can be found here.
  • The error code regarding the 5-year rule, as referred to in your request, is CON-281.
  • The MDP rejection codes shown below are for RTS 22 transaction reports submitted to the FCA in 2024 (up to 13/12/2024).
  • The following list only includes error codes where a transaction report submitted in 2024 has received that error code. A full list of error codes and further information on each code is publicly available and can be found here.
