The total value of client assets (client money and custody assets) held under CASS arrangements by FCA regulated entities.
Request 2:
The total number of FCA regulated firms that hold CASS permissions (ie permissions to hold and/or control Client Assets).
Clarification
In respect of request 2, I am seeking the total number of FCA regulated firms that hold permission to carry out any of the following activities, regardless of whether they currently exercise that permission:
- Hold and control client money
- Safeguarding and administration of assets
- Managing an AIF
