Authorised fund that needs changes

    Step 1: Apply to amend your fund

    To amend an authorised fund, first you must submit the relevant application form and supporting documents to us.

    You can submit a draft application for our comment before starting the formal process.

    Step 2: We review the amends

    We’ll review the proposed changes in the usual way. 

    Note that our approval is only for the proposed changes and not for the use of a label. 

    You can only make the changes after we have approved them. 

    Once the changes have been made, you need to notify us about the label.

    Step 3: Notify us and download the label

    If we approve your changes to fund disclosures and the changes become effective, complete the Connect form to notify the FCA.

    Complete 1 form per label.

    You do not need to pay a fee. 

    Log in to Connect with your firm’s existing registration details. Then go to the ‘Firm Notifications’ section on Connect.

    You need to provide:

    • Product Reference Number (PRN) for your fund.
    • Which investment label you wish to use.
    • Start date for when you want to use the label.

    Once you’ve notified us, download the label from Connect.

    Step 4: Display the label

    Display the label and publish the associated consumer-facing disclosure as required under our rules.
