Introducer appointed representatives

This firm is an introducer appointed representative (IAR). This means that it can only introduce you to another firm, known as its principal.

This IAR’s principal is Seopa Limited.

What this means

A principal firm is authorised by us to provide certain products or services in the UK and can appoint IARs to act on its behalf. The principal agrees what activities the IAR can do and is responsible for that business.

IARs can:

• introduce you to their principal firm
• give out advertising material about the products and services the principal offers

IARs can’t:

• provide advice on products or services (if you think an IAR has provided advice, you should contact its principal).

If you feel like you've been treated unfairly, or if something goes wrong with a financial product or service, you can complain to the IAR or to the IAR's principal. If you're unhappy with the firm's response, you may be able to complain to the Financial Ombudsman Service. 

But if the IAR has gone beyond the activities the principal has agreed, the Financial Ombudsman may not be able to consider your complaint. You also may not be protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) if the firm goes out of business. This means it’s unlikely you’d get your money back.
