Registering a Principal User
If your firm is newly authorised, you will have to register a Principal User on RegData.
The Principal User will then be able to set up and manage other users.
You will register using a:
Controlled Function (such as, Senior Management Functions)
Or
- Registration Key (if you do not hold a Controlled Function)
If you haven't been sent a Registration Key, or your firm doesn't have a person holding a
Controlled Function, please contact us[1].

Accessing RegData
Once registered you will sign in to My FCA[5] using your RegData details.
Multi-factor authentication
Multi-factor authentication ensures only you access your accounts.
You will enter a one-time passcode each time you sign in. Read more about multi-factor authentication[6].
