Find out about changes to turnaround times for reviewing and processing listing transactions over the Christmas and New Year period.
Over Christmas we change our standard turnaround times for reviewing documents and guidance cases as well as the process for listing applications. This enables staff working between Christmas and New Year to prioritise the most time-sensitive transactions.
When calculating response times for documents and guidance requests, we will not include any of the days from Monday 22 December 2025 to Friday 2 January 2026 inclusive.
We will still have staff working on 22, 23, 24 (morning), 29, 30, 31 (morning) December, and from 2 January.
We encourage advisers to contact us early about any time-critical matters, including approvals and admissions.

We are not accepting listing hearings for 22, 23, 24, 29, 30, 31 December 2025 and 2 January 2026. We still intend to process changes to the Official List throughout the period (including the dates above) and you can book earlier hearing dates.
Final Terms and any outstanding conditions (for any case type) will need to be submitted no later than 10am on 24 and 31 December 2025 that are due to be admitted or effective the following business day.
Any hearing requests for 5 January 2026 will need to be submitted via the ESS portal no later than 10am on 31 December 2025.
We hope that by giving notice of these timings you will be able to plan your transactions accordingly. However, if this is likely to cause significant issues contact us as soon as possible to discuss a suitable approach.

We will prioritise cases and accept hearings on the dates above, where deadlines are outside the control of the issuer, for example:
- Transactions subject to the Takeover Code.
- Rescue refinancing prospectuses.
- Situations where financial information in transaction documents risks becoming 'stale' according to the UK Listing[1] or Prospectus Regulation Rules[2] after 31 December.
Based on the amended turnaround times and hearing dates we aim to provide a normal service over the holiday period. This includes processing changes to the Official List, sponsor enquiries, emergency lines and same-day supplement service.
