Please may I receive a list of solo regulated firms in the UK that provide any form of customer credit as of 2024.
FCA response:
We have interpreted your request to mean any firm with permission relating to offering regulated consumer credit agreements. We can confirm that we hold the requested information. The information requested can be found attached in Annex A which contains a list of solo-regulated firms which were authorised on 4 October 2024 with at least one permission to carry out regulated activity covered by A60(B)(1)-(2) of The Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Regulated Activities) Order 2001:

60B.
(1) Entering into a regulated credit agreement as a lender is a specified kind of activity.
(2) It is a specified kind of activity for the lender or another person to exercise, or to have the right to exercise, the lender’s rights and duties under a regulated credit agreement.
