Information AIF managers - July 2022

Regarding FOI9225, in relation to the 'small registered AIFM change form' I would like to know separately:

1.The number of small internal UK alternative investment fund managers that have left their post.

2.The number of EuVECA fund managers that have left their post.

I would like this data as a total for each of the last five years, with March as year-end. If this is not possible then please use the year-end used internally by the organisation.

Please note we have interpreted ‘UK Alternative Investment Fund Managers’ (“AIFMs”) to mean senior persons responsible for the management of an AIFM and ‘EuVECA fund managers’ to mean an individual who manages at least one qualifying venture capital fund, as set out in the European Venture Capital Funds Regulation 2013, for a firm registered with the FCA as a EuVECA manager. Please also note that the AIFM Regulations were amended in 2019, as a result of the UK’s exit from the European Union, with ‘EuVECA Manager’ being replaced with ‘RVECA (“Registered Venture Capital Fund”) Manager’.

The table below provides the number of small internal UK alternative investment fund managers and EuVECA/RVECAfund managers that have left their post in the last 5 years and for 2022 to date.
