The Financial Conduct Authority ("the FCA") notifies that it temporarily restricts short selling in the following instruments under Article 23(1) of Regulation (EU) No 236/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 March 2012 on short selling and certain aspects of credit default swaps.

b) BANCO ESPIRITO SANTO, S.A. PTBES0AM0007;
c) SONAE INDUSTRIA, SGPS, S.A. PTS3P0AM0017
This measure is effective from 08:00am 4 July 2013 until 11:59pm 4 July 2013
