What you’ll do
Starting in September 2017, our Apprenticeship Programme offers you a 14-18 month opportunity to take part in key aspects of our day-to-day work. You’ll develop new skills and gain an industry leading professional qualification while you earn a highly competitive £18K salary.
As well as regular support from your line manager, you’ll also have access to a dedicated Talent Coach and dedicated study time away from the office. Your Talent Coach will be on hand to support you throughout your programme and help you balance your work and study.

We’re looking for people with the desire and determination to make a real difference to the way financial services work. That means you’ll need to demonstrate careful judgement and the drive to deliver change. You will develop the skills to influence internal and external stakeholders, and the curiosity to seek out fresh insights and develop your own understanding. We look for people who show the potential to learn and grow.
You don’t need to have any previous work experience, but you’ll need to have attained a minimum of five GCSEs (A-C) and two A Levels.
What they said
Being an apprentice at the FCA has been an excellent experience. As soon as I joined it was clear that my work and contributions were truly valued.
“Being an apprentice at the FCA has been an excellent experience. As soon as I joined it was clear that my work and contributions were truly valued. Within my first few weeks I had the chance to work with and influence senior colleagues, allowing me to lend my own skills to high profile work.
In a short space of time I’ve learned so much about the industry, my role and myself; that’s perhaps the thing I’ve enjoyed the most. I truly feel that the FCA support my growth and are keen to see me succeed.”
