MoU between the FCA and Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS)

The Financial Services Act 2012 (the “2012 Act”) requires that the FCA enter into, and publish, a memorandum of understanding with the FOS. Broadly, it sets out the respective roles and functions of each organisation, the FCA’s oversight role, the way in which the two bodies will co-operate and the information sharing arrangements.
